Registration Methods
Auditions: The student is admitted into the Pre-Professional Program if he/she meets, in an audition, the evaluation criteria based on the candidate’s potential, abilities and skills in following the program.
Form: All candidates must complete the Request for Admission form and include the required documents. It is important to only send the form once and to include all required documents, as well as payment for the audition.
ADMISSION CONDITIONS
Pre-Preparatory Program:
a) Between the ages of 9 and 15;
b) Must be registered in an educational establishment recognized by the Ministry of Education;
Preparatory Program:
a) Between the ages of 16 and 25;
b) Satisfy the following conditions.
All candidates must meet the following conditions:
- Be in excellent physical health, which must be attested to by a medical certificate;
- Pass the audition;
- Provide the documents listed below, before the deadline for request of candidacy.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
- The Request for Admission form completed and signed by the candidate and by the parental authority;
- A typed letter, detailing the candidate’s expectations for the chosen program (attach an 8½” x 11” sheet);
- 2 passport-size (4 cm x 6 cm) photographs (signed on the back by the candidate);
- A copy of the candidate’s birth certificate;
- A photocopy of the Health Insurance Card (Quebec residents) or a letter of insurance attestation from the province of origin (residents of Canada), or a copy of insurance coverage for foreign candidates;
- The latest school report for the current year (pre-preparatory program only)
- All transcripts and attestations related to training in physical or artistic activities;
- A medical certificate issued by a physician attesting to the candidate’s good physical condition and informing us of all previous medical issues that could constitute a restriction to performing intensive physical activity;
- A certified cheque or a money order covering audition fees, made out to the School. Non-certified cheques will not be accepted.
For foreign candidates (Preparatory program only) :
- Hold a valid student visa;
- Pay all customs and delivery fees when sending the request for candidacy;
- Provide proof of medical insurance valid for the complete duration of the candidate’s residency in Quebec;
- Pay any supplementary administrative fees relating to school fees for immigration files;
- Provide an unsigned traveler’s cheque in Canadian funds covering at least 1/3 of tuition at the time of request for candidacy.
*Tuition fees must be paid in Canadian funds.

The Audition :
1. Physical evaluation
- Acrobatics
- Trampoline
- Balance
- Physical preparation
- Flexibility
- Aerial techniques
The various physical exercises will permit us to evaluate the tone, body alignment, motor coordination, spatial orientation, concentration, flexibility and ease of movement.
2. Evaluation of artistic qualities
- Dance
- Games
This step will allow for evaluation of the candidate’s potential and artistic qualities, such as imagination, initiative, listening, stage presence, musicality, visualization and memory.
3. The interview
An individual 30-minute meeting will allow us to get to know the candidate’s motivation, as well as his/her personal expectations and objectives. Note: The candidate should wear comfortable and well-fitted gymnastics clothing, and must be available during the evaluation period.
