General Registration Procedure

Times and Dates of Registration
All registrations must be done on-site at the École de cirque de Verdun.

2012 Winter Session – January 14 to March 23 2012

Recreational courses:

PRE-REGISTRATIONS:

Please note those who can benefit from the pre-registration are ONLY those who were registered last fall session:

From December 3th to 9th 2011 (except Sunday, 4th December). A 5$ discount is given if you bring your pre-registration coupon that was given in class. Discount given only at the registration time. You can also register by downloading the form above and send it by mail, following the steps that are mentioned below.

Hours:

-Saturday, 3th December: from 9:00 a.m. to noon

-From Monday 5th to 9th December: from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

GENERAL REGISTRATION:

For those who want to register for the first time or that were not registered last session:

From January 9th to 14th 2011. You can register at the École de cirque de Verdun or you can download the form above and send it by mail, following the steps that are mentioned below. Please note that the forms received by mail won’t be processed before the official registration period.

ATTENTION: We don’t accept registration sent by email anymore!

ON THE SPOT REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:

1- You must come to the reception of the École de cirque de Verdun between those hours:

          -January 9th 2012: from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
          -From January 10th 2012: 11 a.m to 7 p.m
          -January 17th 2011: 9 a.m to 12 a.m

It’s always easier if you print your form and fill out the “identité du participant” section, before coming to register;

2- Once at the school, an employee from the school will fill out the “reservé à l’administration”;

3- When registering, please provide a payment by cheque or cash ONLY.

****** Don’t forget that the payment should cover at least 50 % of ****** the total amount for the 12 weeks registration or at least 35 % for the 32 weeks registration.

BY MAIL PROCEDURE:

Please note that all of the registrations received by mail will be processed at the end of the first day of the official registration period.

1- Download and print the registration form above;

2- Fill out the “identité du participant” section. ATTENTION the name and first name must be those of the person taking the course and not the name of the person doing the registration (even for under age child);

3- CALL at the École de cirque de Verdun at 514-768-5812, BEFORE sending the form. We need to help you to fill out the “reservé à l’administration” section;

4- Sign and date the form. For under aged student, the parent or legal tutor must sign the form and write his name in capital letters on top of the signature. Don’t forget to fill out the “Autorisation de prendre le participant en photo ou video” section: check yes or no, and initialise;

5- Join the payment to the form, by check ONLY, paid at the order of “École de cirque de Verdun”;

6- Don’t forget that the payment should cover at least 50 % of the total amount for the 14 weeks registration or at least 35 % for the 34 weeks registration.

ATTENTION:

For a pre-registration: the check must be date the same day
For a regular registration: the check must be post-dated to January 9th 2012

******Don’t forget that the pre-registration coupon that was ***** given at the last session is MANDATORY to be able to pre-register. Please join this coupon to your form when sending it.

Applicable discount:

Two registration from the same family: 10$ discount applicable on the total of both invoices. Please note that both of the registration must be done at the same time.

Registration to two courses: 10$ discount on the total of the two courses. Please note that you must register to both courses at the same time.

Kids Accès-Verdun or Lachine card: 10$ discount per registration per child. NB: To be able to benefit of this discount, the client must BRING THE CARD AT THE REGISTRATION.

20 weeks session: the client don’t pay for file opening.

PAYMENT:

By mail, the payment must be MANDATORY done by check. You can always pay cash at our office.

****** Please note that a registration is valid only if the payment is ****** ATTACHED to the form. A registration without a payment does not guarantee a place.

For a 10 weeks registration, a payment equivalent to half of the total amount is asked. The second half must be paid before Febuary 11th 2012.

For a 20 weeks registration, a payment equivalent to the half of the total amount is asked. The other half have to be done before March 16th 2012 , by giving post-dated checks.

TERMS:

•   The annual file opening fees at 15$ (kid) and 17$ (adult) per student and are not refundable.
•   A minimum of students are required to be able to start a course.
•   There is no recovery or refund in case of an absence to one or several courses.
•   Courses refunds are given only at the reception BY THE SCHOOL of the RESILIATION part of the registration form.
•   Payments must be done by check at the order of “École de cirque de Verdun” or paid cash.

Costs are subject to change without notice.

Family workshops and juggling workshops:

Activities given without reservations. Simply present yourself at the school the day of the activity. Cash only.

Family workshops: children from 3 to 8 years old MUST BE with a parent or legal tutor.

Family and juggling workshops: for unaccompanied children between the ages of 9 and 17, the parent or legal guardian must complete the parental authorization form below.
