The circus is an activity for the young and the young at heart, which is why, this year, l’École de cirque de Verdun would like to dedicate its Fundraising Campaign to the School’s little ones.
For 2008-2009, l’École de cirque de Verdun has the opportunity to participate in the Placement Culture du Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec program. For every donation collected, the School receives a return of 150%. All the money collected will be put into our 10-year endowment fund and into our 2-year reserve fund, the management of which is the responsibility of the Fondation du Grand Montréal.
Your contribution towards the attainment of our objective of $10,000 would also allow l’École de cirque de Verdun to obtain an additional amount of $15,000.
L’École de cirque de Verdun solicits your generosity so that tomorrow’s young circus performers can benefit from a better-designed work and play area, and even more equipment.
L’École de cirque de Verdun is a non-profit organization devoted to training in and the development of circus arts, mostly for young people. To share a passion, witness the birth of a vocation or simply see children have fun and get fit within a recreational, non-competitive context is the driving force of our work since 1988.
The practice of circus arts contributes, in a unique and fun way, to the development and maintenance of good physical condition which promotes a healthy lifestyle. Besides the physical benefits, circus arts are linked to the perfecting of a technique, creativity and the expression of self-esteem.
Each year, the School is happy to welcome thousands of young people from diverse social, cultural and ethnic backgrounds, and hopes, by its actions, to enhance and convey values essential to success, such as the spirit of cooperation, teamwork and solidarity.

In order to participate in the development of l’École de cirque de Verdun, we need your generosity to raise $10,000. This amount would permit us to invest in new equipment for courses aimed at children 3 to 8 years old.
